Omaha, NE –November 8, 2021 – Teledyne CETAC Technologies is pleased to announce their partnership with the LaserChron facility at the University of Arizona (ALC).  The beautiful ALC facility in Tucson will act as Teledyne CETAC Technology’s North American Demo Lab, hosting visitors from across the globe as well as offering virtual support.  The unparalleled experience of the ALC team within the geochron community makes them uniquely capable of supporting Teledyne CETAC’s ongoing developments for the Iridia, HDIP software and future projects.

Arizona LaserChron Center website states, “We are pleased to have established a collaboration with Teledyne Technologies that focuses on developing new hardware, software, and applications for U-Th-Pb geochronology and related geochemistry by LA-ICPMS. A new Iridia laser system, equipped with a Cobalt cell and HDIP software is now being used with our Element2 ICPMS, and is available for demo visits.”  The University of Arizona LaserChron lab is designed to address problems in Earth Science through the generation of U-Th-Pb geochronological data and complementary geochemical information for Laser Ablation ICP Mass Spectrometry.
