​Teledyne CETAC Technologies Introduces the APS-7450V Volumetric Sample Preparation Station

Omaha, NE USA / April 21, 2021 - Teledyne CETAC introduces their new APS-7450V Volumetric Sample Preparation Station for the oils condition monitoring industry.  Sample testing in this industry is critical to understand the operational health of machinery to prevent breakdown and costly repairs.  Lubricating oils, coolants and hydraulic fluids are analyzed for metal concentrations, which are used to indicate when maintenance is needed to prevent damage or impending breakdown of machinery.


Over the years, wear metals analysis has seen a decrease in ICP analysis time, approximately 30 seconds per sample. Sample preparation time has not seen the same decrease until now.  Initial feedback on the APS-7450V is showing that users are doubling the sample throughput and it is outperforming the competitors in both price and performance.
